The Pittsburgh Penguins celebrated their fifth Stanley Cup championship with a 2-0 victory over the Nashville Predators on June 11, 2017 in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final. The first goal of the game, the game winner, was scored with only 1:35 left in the 3rd period. With this win, the Penguins became the first back-to-back Stanley Cup champions in 19 years.  The Penguins capped their 50th Anniversary season with their fifth Stanley Cup, and all five championships were won on the road.
